The fast bowler of Hobart Hurricanes, Nathan Ellis, Stunned the Strikers with a fabulous catch in the 13th match of BBL 2024-25 between Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers. In the 12th over of the chase, Waqar Salamkheil bowled the fourth ball, and it was a tossed-up googly delivery. Matthew Short, who was looking good, stepped out to loft the ball down the track, but the ball turned away from him, taking the leading-edge and it went high in the air. Ellis, who was at the extra-cover, tracked backwards to grab the ball that was moving away from him. He managed to hold the ball with a reverse-cup, falling down on the ground and his elbows went to hit the ground. However, the ball bumped out of his hand, but Ellis grasped it again after the ball landed on his chest. This screamer by Ellis shortened the innings of Matthew Short, who would have changed the course of the game if he would have stayed in the middle for few more overs.
