Najibullah Zadran was on fire with his explosive batting during the Zim Afro T10 match between Nys Lagos and Durban Wolves at Harare Sports Club on Tuesday. He became newsworthy when he hit 33 runs in one over from Donald Tiripano. He started off with three consecutive sixes on the first three balls of the 6th over followed by a two, another six, and a boundary came off the last ball as Zadra. Tiripano also bowled three wides in the over, making it a nightmare for the Wolves' bowler. Zadran revealed post-match that he had planned to attack the fast bowler to push the score higher. “I had just scored 6 runs in seven balls before that over. So, I told (Ryan) Burl that I’m going to push the paddle in this over. Also, I have faced Tiripano earlier as well and I have an idea about his variations. So, my idea was simple, just watch the ball and hit the ball." He added: "Unfortunately, I got out before the third powerplay but really happy that we eventually won the match."
