As India prepares for the second Test against England following a grueling defeat at Leeds, the team practices hard during their sessions. But all seriousness aside. A humorous incident at the nets stole everyone's attention when bowling coach Morne Morkel humorously mimicked as if he was performing in a WWE match with pacers Arshdeep Singh and Akashdeep Singh. It was not an actual fight, but rather some laughter and fun. With bouncers in the air and jokes being cracked, everyone had a smile on their faces. This blending of work and enjoyment is keeping the team smiling and upbeat in anticipation of the big game. He remains yet to play a Test and was coached intensely by bowling coach Morne Morkel, which suggested he could be in the running for selection for the match at hand, at a ground where India are yet to taste a Test victory. With Jasprit Bumrah not expected to play in the second Test, Arshdeep has a fair chance of getting his red-ball cap. The seamer has been quite involved for India in white-ball cricket and has played in English conditions before, having undergone County Cricket in the past. According to multiple reports in the media, Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna were present at the stadium but did not participate in training. Bumrah had earlier mentioned he would play three Tests in the series, subject to how his body handles the workload. The fast bowler captained India at Edgbaston back in 2022, where England chased down 378 runs to deliver an incredible win. Sitanshu Kotak also provided special focus to Mohammed Siraj to get his bowling rhythm right. While India's lower order batting collapse in both innings of the first Test was to prove expensive later. England skipper Ben Stokes conceded that finishing off India's lower order in a hurry was instrumental in their win. India will be looking for more resistance from the lower order and better execution at Edgbaston.
