The experienced Indian fast bowler, Mohammed Shami, has posted a video on social media in which he can be seen bowling in the nets. This video has brought a smile on the faces of Indian cricket fans as Shami is such a kind of bowler who can win the games single-handedly. The right-arm pacer has been out of international cricket since ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Final which took place on 19th November 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. However, his social media post with the captain, "Precision, Pace, and Passion, All Set to Take on the World!", is assumed by the fans as the sign of comeback in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and that too with a complete fitness. He also contributed with both bat and ball in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy which raised the expectations of his comeback in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, his excess workload in the Syed Mushtaq Trophy brought a minor swelling in his right knee due to which he was ruled out of being a part of Border-Gavaskar trophy. He underwent the targeted strength and conditioning training under the guidance of BCCI's Centre of Excellence's medical staff. They denied the participation of Mohammed Shami in Vijay Hazare Trophy's further games as they wanted to gradually increase his bowling loads to make him fully prepared for the List A and red-ball cricket. There is no sort of clarification from the doctors of NCA on Shami's fitness, but the recent post by the bowler on social media has made fans even more eager to see him back in the blues for the mega event.
