Chittagong Kings' Mohammad Mithun executed a MS Dhoni-Esque run out in the 37th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) against the Rangpur Riders at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. On the fifth delivery of the sixth over of Rangpur Riders' innings, Khaled Ahmed bowled a no-ball, awarding a free-hit to Soumya Sarkar. He delivered a short pitched slower one to Sarkar to which the southpaw played it towards the deep square leg region. Haider Ali collected the ball near the rope and threw it towards Mithun. Sarkar, who was coming back for a double, had though that it would be an easy run as Mithun was away from the stumps with his back turned to the wickets. However, Sarkar was caught off guard by Mohammad Mithun through his no look run out. His magnificent effort ended Sarkar's innings at 23 off 17.
