The former New Zealand batter and one of the most dangerous player in the shorter format, Martin Guptill, displayed his caliber once again, this time in the Legend 90 League. The right-hander dismantled the bowling unit of the opposition by hammering an unbeaten 160 off just 49 balls. Against the Big Boys Unikari, Guptill opened the innings for Chhattisgarh Warriors with Rishi Dhawan and the duo posted 240 runs without losing a single wicket. Rishi smashed an unbeaten 76 off 42 with seven fours and four sixes, but the highlight of the match was the destructive innings of Martin Guptill. The Kiwi great scored 160* with 12 fours and 16 maximums. In response, Big Boys Unikari could only manage to post 151 runs and they lost the match by 89 runs. He ended his career as one of the New Zealand's finest openers in white ball cricket. Guptill has played a total of 47 Tests, 198 ODIs and 122 T20Is for New Zealand. He has scored 2586 runs in Test cricket, 7346 in One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 3531 in T20 Internationals (T20Is). Overall, he has hammered 23 centuries, 18 of which came in ODIs, 3 in Tests, and 2 in T20Is. He is also the only Kiwi batter to score a double century in ODI cricket. Guptill achieved this feat during the 2015 Cricket World Cup where he scored an unbeaten 237 off 163 balls against West Indies. After his retirement, Guptill has continued playing franchise cricket in T20 format and is currently the batter is wreaking havoc in the Legends 90 League.
