Marco Jansen was the star for South Africa with his career-best T20I figures of 4/40, removing key batsmen including Tim Seifert, Finn Allen, Rachin Ravindra, and Mark Chapman. Mark Chapman top-scored for New Zealand with a 48-run knock off 26 balls at a strike rate of 184.61, supported by Finn Allen’s 31 from 17 balls and Daryl Mitchell’s 32 from 24 deliveries. Extras were minimal, with only 1 leg-bye conceded. New Zealand’s innings saw early breakthroughs as Seifert fell for 13 in the 4th over, followed quickly by Ravindra and Allen.
