The Royal Challengers Bengaluru camp was filled with energy and excitement prior to the marquee IPL 2025 final against Punjab Kings. In a light-hearted video posted by the franchise in their "Bold Diaries" series, the team enjoyed celebrating captain Rajat Patidar's and mentor Dinesh Karthik's birthdays. What began as a modest cake-cutting session soon escalated into a full-fledged cake fight. All of them clapped and sang as candles were being blown out, but soon the dressing room became a cake battlefield. Players were rushing here and there, laughing, and putting cake on faces. Patidar and Karthik were the prime targets, but no one was left untouched by the cake onslaught. One of the funniest parts of the video came when England’s Liam Livingstone jokingly told Jitesh Sharma to put cake on Virat Kohli’s face. Jitesh, clearly nervous, joined his hands and pleaded not to do it. (jokingly). This made everyone burst into laughter, and the moment quickly went viral on social media. They will play Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday in the IPL 2025 final. RCB has been to the final four times and is still waiting for their maiden trophy after they ended as runners-up in 2009, 2011, and 2016. RCB captain Rajat Patidar guided his team to a comfortable win against PBKS in Qualifier 1 by dismissing them for only 101 and chasing it in 10 overs. He mentioned that the team wishes to win for the supporters and particularly for Virat Kohli. "Virat has given everything over the years - this title will mean a lot to him," Patidar added. Punjab Kings are also confident following their electrifying victory over Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2. Shreyas Iyer played a fantastic innings of unbeaten 87 off 41 balls and will be hoping to take revenge for their previous loss at the hands of RCB and lift up PBKS for their first-ever IPL title.
