During the 18th over of the innings by Harmeet Singh, who gave away a very full and wide delivery outside off, Laurie Evans played an incredible one-handed shot that left the viewers spellbound in the 6th match of ILT20 2025 between Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and Sharjah Warriorz. Evans appeared to lose his balance, but still managed to stretch out one hand to plant his bat at the ball. What happened next was pure magic – a thick outside edge that ran along past the boundary of third man for four. Kyle Mayers (21), Joe Clarke (32), Alishan Sharafu (25) and Andre Russell (24*) also added valuable runs to take their side to 159 at loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Milne and Rashid picked up two wickets each for Sharjah, while Harmeet bagged one. The Warriorz were nowhere into the chase since the beginning as the kept losing wickets at regular interval. Rohan Mustafa (20), Keemo Paul (21) and Tim Southee (24) tried their best, but these efforts were not enough to get over the line as the side lost the game by 30 runs.
