Virat Kohli led from the front on Sunday as Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured a commanding nine-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. The RCB opener remained unbeaten on 62 off 45 balls to help his team register the 4th win of the season. After the match, Kohli was seen chatting near the boundary line with Yashasvi Jaiswal, RCB bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and batting coach Vikram Rathour when a pitch invader made his way towards the players. As the fan approached, Kohli quickly slipped out of view behind the group, avoiding the pitch invader completely. Security at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium quickly stepped in and escorted the fan away. Kohli brings up 100th T20 half-century On Sunday, Kohli also became the second player ever to cross 100 half-centuries in T20 cricket. He is also the first Asian player to achieve the feat. Australia's David Warner is the only cricketer who has crossed 100 T20 half-centuries so far. Warner, who is currently playing in the Pakistan Super League, has 108 T20 fifties. Pakistan's Babar Azam has scored 90 half-centuries, while Chris Gayle has 88. England's Jos Buttler has scored 86, and his countryman Alex Hales has 85. While Virat Kohli has scored 9 centuries in his T20 career, Chris Gayle has notched up 22. In the overall 50-plus scores, David Warner still sits on top with 116, while Gayle has 110 and Kohli has 109. Babar Azam comes fourth in that list with 101 fifty-plus scores in T20 cricket. Kohli, who currently has 66 IPL half-centuries, will return to action on April 18, when RCB will take on Punjab Kings at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Notably, RCB's two losses in IPL 2025 have both come at their home ground. The team will look to break the losing streak on Friday.
