Pakistan's well-known wicketkeeper and batterMohammad Haris came out with a weird statement after his team, the Stallions, lost the contest in the Champions One Day Cup after facing defeat at the hands of Markhors; he told that he felt glad losing the match. In the match, Markhors batted first and scored 231 runs while Iftikhar Ahmed and Agha Salman scored half-centuries. Stallions came to bat, could not do well and were bowled out for just 105 runs as they lost by 126 runs. In a post-match interview, Haris was pleased that they lost. They were learning and getting an idea of what they were required to work on early in the tournament. He said that they had batted first against some of the weaker teams so far, so they wanted to see how well they could do with chasing a score today. Both Babar Azam and Haris were in great form with the bat. Their bowlers, too, were on top form as they could restrict the Lions to just 203 runs. They then faced a disastrous defeat against the Markhors. Though they could restrict the scores of the Markhors, their batting collapsed in that match. They are currently at third position in the points table, and the next match is against the Dolphins. Also Read | Surprising Cricket Facts You Didn’t Know! Test Your Knowledge
