On April 13, at the IPL 2025 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at Arun Jaitley Stadium, there was a tense moment between MI pacer Jasprit Bumrah and DC batter Karun Nair on the field. But at the end of the match, both players made peace with each other. During the middle of the match, Karun bumped into Bumrah by mistake while running between wickets. Karun apologized for the same, but Bumrah appeared to be in a rage and uttered some words. The situation created tension, but that was momentary. Once the match got over, there was a clip posted by Delhi Capitals that presented both the cricketers grinning, laughing, and hugging each other. It seemed they had also moved past and resolved the issue in a convivial manner. He even smashed two sixes and one four off Jasprit Bumrah, which left the Delhi fans very pleased. Yet his attempt didn't succeed, as DC was defeated by 12 runs. MI achieved their second win for the season. Later during the match, Karun shared at the media conference about how he negotiated through Bumrah's bowling. He indicated it was a matter of picking and choosing the correct deliveries and running in his strongest spots. Karun told: "Everybody says the bowlers don't go to places and look around. My coach used to say the right hands bring everything home. Similarly, for the bowling as well." Although Delhi Capitals lost the game following the hat-trick of runouts, fans of Delhi were pleased to witness Karun returning to his rhythm. Delhi Capitals will now try to bounce back in their next game against Rajasthan Royals on April 16.
