In the final of Abu Dhabi T10 League, Jos Buttler grabbed a stunning catch off Richard Gleeson to get rid of the danger man, Faf du Plessis. The minute came when Faf du Plessis was actually playing well, scoring 34 off 23 balls, and was trying to score quick runs for his side. On the third ball of the eighth over, Richard Gleeson came with a slower full-length delivery. Faf du Plessis was all set to go big as he swung his bat hard but unfortunately he didn't timed the ball well. The ball went to cow corner area, and that's where Buttler's action came into play. From deep mid-wicket, Buttler ran to his left and covered quite a few distance. He then made a full length dive, stretching out hard, and snatching the ball before it touched the ground, Buttler sent du Plessis walking. Opener Faf du Plessis had been crucial to Morrisville's efforts to accelerate, and his dismissal slowed their run rate. The Samp Army could only manage to post 104 at the loss of seven wickets in their 10 overs, a total that was too low for a final. Deccan Gladiators quickly went after the target during the chase as they reached the total in just 6.5 overs. Their opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore scored an unbeaten 56, while Nicholas Pooran added 28 off 10 balls. Rilee Rossouw and Buttler chipped in with 12 runs each as the Gladiators went on to win the title.
