Team India's premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah was spotted displaying his playful side during a net session prior to the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash against the island nation Sri Lanka. The star bowler bowled left-arm spin in the nets by imitating Ravindra Jadeja's action, which created buzz prior to the dead rubber encounter. Bumrah's workload has been controlled well during the tournament in the UAE. He was given a break for the Oman group stage match after India had already qualified with consecutive victories. With Sunday, September 28, fixed for Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan in Dubai, the management is set to give him a break against Sri Lanka. Bumrah's Asia Cup 2025 Campaign Bumrah has produced patchy performances in the Asia Cup so far. He has claimed five wickets in four games at a rate of 22 and an economy rate of 7.33. He was wicketless in the match against Pakistan in the Super 4 stage, giving away 45 runs, but produced a good spell of 2-18 as India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs. With India already qualified for the final, the management of the team could provide Bumrah with the much-needed rest before the high-octane encounter against Pakistan.
