Blessing Muzarabani, on the second ball of the 18th over, pitched at out-side off to which the 18-year-old DSouza drived it without thinking to keep to on the ground. The skipper of Gulf Giants, James Vince, made a full-length dive to grab ab absolute stunner just few inches above the ground. His magnificent catch shortened the innings of Eathan at 14 off nine. Later, On the last ball of the same over, James Vince took an easy catch to dismiss the danger man Jason Roy at 44 off 30 and this helped his side to restrict Sharjah at a chasable score. They got off to a good start as they were at 57 for 1 after six overs. However, the wickets started tumbling soon after that, but a cameo from Ashton Agar (23*) and Jason Roy's 44 took the Sharjah Warriorz to 171. Blessing Muzarabani led the bowling for the Giants with three wickets while Worrall, Adair and Drakes picked a wicket each. In response, Giants' skipper Vince along with Tom Aslop got off to a flyer before Vince lost his wicket for 24. Aslop took the charge of chase by scoring 85 off 60 with seven fours and two huge sixes. Tom Curran also contributed by scoring 26 off 17 and the side successfully chased down 172 in 19.3 overs. Gulf Giants registered their third win of the season and are placed at the fifth spot, just above Sharjah Warriorz who are sitting at the bottom with two wins in seven matches.
