India’s dominance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy ends as the Australian team won the BGT 2024-25 with the victory in the last at the SCG. India’s batting failure was one of the major reasons for India’s downfall in the series. Tier 1 batters like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shubman Gill totally failed against the Australian bowling lineup. KL Rahul also looked in fine touch, but he once again failed to make it big for his team against the quality bowling lineup. Young batter Shubman Gill got few starts but could not convert those starts. Indian started the series on a good note as they won the first match of the series with a huge margi but they could not take the advantage of the good start and eded up loosing the series by 1-3. This series lost has raised so many qustion against the entire team and the sports staff. On the other hand, Australia, the team that was struggling in the series, somehow raised their game at the right time and displayed brilliant dominance from the Pink Ball Test match. Now they have won the series after one decade, and with the series win, they have qualified for the WTC final.
