The Ireland women's cricket team finally won its first-ever T20I against England on Sunday (15 September). Having won the third ODI in Belfast on Wednesday (September 11) against England, the Irish women went on to win the second and final T20I by five wickets at Castle Avenue in Dublin. Orla Prendergast tops the list of the scorers from Ireland in this historic match with 80 runs from 51 balls. Leah Paul scored 27 runs, and she did not get out until the last ball. Captain Gaby Lewis adds 38 runs to her account. With Christina Coulter Reilly's quick 2 runs, Ireland made it to the end. The winning moment was captured by the official X account of Ireland Women's Cricket and went viral immediately. The clip features the tail-end of the game, when spinner Mady Villiers of England bowls the ball that turns towards the off-stump. It was pushed for a single by Ireland's Christina Coulter Reilly. As Villiers tries to hit the stumps but fails, Ireland gets one more run. Quick running by Reilly sealed the famous victory for Ireland.
