A scintillating last over from Hunain Shah led Hyderabad Kingsmen to a nail-biting two-run victory over Islamabad United in their Pakistan Super League playoff match in Lahore on Friday clinching their spot in the final with what has been an incredible turnaround season. Defending 186 Hyderabad found themselves in a perilous situation going into the last over of the game. Islamabad needed just one run per over for victory, and the contest was as balanced as could be. However, Shah kept his nerve and delivered a controlled and disciplined over to seal Hyderabad’s position in the final. He managed to bowl pinpoint yorkers throughout the last six deliveries of the match and kept the opposition batsmen restricted to a mere three runs. Crucially, he also managed to scalp the important wicket of Faheem Ashraf who was caught at mid-off while looking to strike it big. Shah then held his nerve to not let Imad Wasim and Chris Green finish the chase with a tidy line to leave Islamabad on 184/7 and two runs short. Watch the video here: Hunain Shah the show stopper !
