The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series is going from strength to strength with the players of both teams demonstrating over-the-top emotions. On Day 2 of the fifth and last Test between India and England at The Oval, a charged moment was witnessed between Sai Sudharsan and Ben Duckett. Sudharsan was playing with Yashasvi Jaiswal when he was leg-before-wicket (LBW) given by on-field umpire Ahsan Raza. Gus Atkinson's delivery came in sharply and remained low. Sudharsan had a word with Jaiswal after a brief conversation and chose to review the decision. The replays, however, indicated all three reds, validating the on-field decision. Sudharsan had to trudge back after contributing only 11 runs from 29 deliveries. Sudharsan-Duckett Verbal Fight Adds to Tensions While Sudharsan was walking off the field, he was visibly agitated after hearing something Ben Duckett had to say. He walked back towards Duckett and the two had a heated exchange of words. Harry Brook intervened swiftly to part the two from the fight, followed by England's stand-in captain Ollie Pope too who attempted to intervene. Joe Root was also involved in a verbal clash with India's Prasidh Krishna earlier in the day. KL Rahul too had a heated argument with umpire Kumar Dharmasena after standing up for a teammate. Akash Deep too contributed to the tension by sending Duckett off earlier in the game. India were 75/2 at the close of Day 2, ahead of England by 52 runs. Jaiswal remained unbeaten on 51, and Akash Deep had 4. In the morning session, India bowled England out for 245 runs with four wickets each to Siraj and Krishna. Zak Crawley and Harry Brook were England's highest-scoring batters. India had reached 224 in the first innings due to Karun Nair's half-century. Five wickets were taken by Gus Atkinson from England. With the series lead by England at 2-1, the Oval Test might determine the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy winner.
