A funny celebration by Harshal Patel paved the way halfway into the match between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi post Sunil Narine's dismissal. In pursuit of a mammoth 279-run target, KKR openers had no choice but to attack from the very first ball. Narine came out all guns blazing after pat Cummins for two sixes. Then he went for a boundary of Jaydev Unadkat in the next over, hit another six, and then a four against Cummins in the third. And he still felt he had a little more gas left in him. Narine hit a boundary against Unadkat in the fourth over. And just when he looked like he could wreak havoc, Unadkat paid him back. Having been hit for a four, the left-arm pacer got him cleaned up on the very next ball. Unadkat bowled a slower off-cutter which completely defeated Narine. The KKR opener came down the front leg and tried to swing harder but managed only to miss the ball completely while it crashed into his stumps, thus ending his quickfire innings. Narine, after scores of 31 runs off 16 balls with three fours and three sixes, walked back. Harshal Patel’s celebration following that dismissal was the highlight. He grinned, lifting his fingers above his head to provide some comic relief against such an intense setting. pic.twitter.com/vBb2u5wYJO — Drizzyat12Kennyat8 (@45kennyat7PM) May 25, 2025 According to the latest update, at the end of seven overs, KKR were 62 for 3. Rinku Singh and Angkrish Raghuvanshi were at the crease, trying to pull off the biggest run chase in IPL history to give an uplifting finish to an otherwise rough season. Earlier, Heinrich Klaasen's unbeaten century, coupled with an explosive half-century from Travis Head, pushed SRH into a hefty total of 278/3 in 20 overs.
