Pakistan's celebrations turned into the center of attraction throughout the SAFF U-17 Championship encounter in Colombo on Monday, despite India winning a nail-biting 3-2 match. The drama began when Pakistan striker Muhammad Abdullah celebrated his initial goal by simulating a plane crashing. The move was instantly taken to have been a mockery of India's Rafale jets that were hypothetically shot down by PAF earlier this year. Not only that, one of the Pakistani players also made a gesture of having tea from the cup, pointing it towards IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan's statement of 'The tea was fantastic' which he gave in 2019 after he accidentally landed in Pakistan after shooting down Pakistan's jet. The action immediately caught the attention across social media platforms, stealing the limelight from the fierce football clash on the field. The drama continued when his wife too posted about the same on her Instagram story. These actions as well had associated itself with earlier spats between the two countries. Social media respondents defined both actions as "insensitive" and "provocative." Watch the video here: Pakistani players turned a cricket field into a terror stage guns, crashes, mockery.
