The wicket came in the fifth ball, as Shaheen bowled an yorker, tagetting Allen's leg stump, and Allen tried to flick it but got a lower edge of the bat. Rauf, at the short fine leg, dove on his right, taking a one-handed stunner. And unlike the first two matches, New Zealand visibly struggled scoring runs. The pace duo for Pakistan, Rauf and Shaheen, cleared the Kiwi openers Tim Seifert (19) and Finn Allen (0), respectively. Even though Mark Chapman stood tall on one side, the other side kept falling. Daryl Mitchell (17) became the first victim after the openers' exit as Shadab Khan cleared him with a full and wide delivery. Mitchell, trying to go big against it, got an edge, giving a simple catch to Rauf again at short third. Following Mitch, went James Neeshan at 11th untill, the real tropble came, when Shadab dismissed Chapman. Chapman missed his well-deserved century but played a crucial 94-run knock, off 44 balls, hitting 11 boundaries and 4 sixes. However, in around 17th over, all stakes are on Michael Bracewell, (22*) and Ish Sodi (3*), who would try to cross 200 for New Zealand, posting a respected score for Pakistan to chase.
