Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya was seen offering a motivational pep talk to young pacers Satyanarayana Raju and Ashwani Kumar ahead of their clash against Lucknow Super Giants. In a video shared by the Mumbai Indians on social media, Pandya is seen sitting alongside the two pacers, sharing words of wisdom and encouragement based on his experience at the highest level. In his message, Hardik mentioned the importance of putting in the effort and focusing on execution without any expectations. "Be well-prepared. Put in all your effort and stick to the plan. Look forward to every game you play. Before any match, I don't go with any expectations. I just try to execute my preparation. Why did you achieve success? Because you stuck to the plan and bowled in the right line and length. Hence, the success. Just follow the plan and the rest will follow," Pandya told the youngsters. He also reminded them that performance doesn’t always translate to success on the scoreboard, and it’s important to stay balanced when results don't go their way. "Even if you bowl well, you can't guarantee a result. But you should know that you bowled well. What else can you do? So you have to maintain a balance," he added. Just a message for every young & budding cricketer out there 🗣💙#MumbaiIndians #PlayLikeMumbai #TATAIPL #LSGvMI pic.twitter.com/K9Pawlg1tT — Mumbai Indians (@mipaltan) April 3, 2025 MI take on LSG today The pep talk comes at a crucial time for MI, who are looking to build momentum after a below-par start to the season.
