Former Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh shaking hands with Pakistani bowler Shahnawaz Dahani in the Abu Dhabi T10 League has created turmoil in social media. Notably, Singh is representing the Aspin Stallions, while Dahani represents the Northern Warriors. In the third match of the league on November 19, Singh was run out on the final ball of the match. By that time, Singh Stallions had already sealed a 4-run defeat to Dahani's Warriors. As a customary ritual, all players shook hands with Harbhajan Singh; so did Dahani. And the controversy started there. Month back, in the July, during the World Championship of Legends, India pulled out from the match against Pakistan in group stage. India did not even play the semifinal, which gave Pakistan an easy berth in the final, but got lost to the South Afrcia Champions. Well, after the WCL's intense boycott call, Bhajji shaking hands with Dahani had called out political hypocrisy. The WCL move was a landmark move that even changed the seniors Indian Men's team's attitude towards Salman Agha's Pakistan in 2025 Asia Cup. The tension reached such a peak that Haris Rauf, who was said to have a nice relationship with Virat Kohli, mocked India's Operation Sindoor while fielding at the boundary. And the Asia Cup drama added more spice to it. The tensions overflowed so much that the "no handshake" became a new norm for almost every Indo-Pak clash irrespective of any discipline. The heat even still has kept the Asia Cup locked up with PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi! Well, this is not the first time Harbhajan Singh has landed in an India-Pakistan controversy. Days after boycotting the India vs Pakistan group match in Birmingham, he was spotted dining at a Pakistani owner's restaurant
