In the 4th match of the WBBL season, the Hobart Hurricanes Women played the Sydney Thunder Women at Bellerive Oval in Hobart. Sydney Thunders won the toss and decided to bowl first. Lizelle Lee and Danielle Wyatt-Hodge began with the innings for Hobart. However, it was a short stay in the ground for the Lee as Georgia Adams took a brilliant catch off Samantha Bates. It was a flighted delivery by Samantha as Lee attempted a shot in the on-side, timing it very poorly, making it go straight up towards the mid-off region. Adams chased the ball so well that she managed an incredible catch and sent back Lee to the pavilion. Samantha was the best bowler for Sydney in this game as she picked up 3 wickets. Chamari bagged 2, while Sammy-Jo and Adams scalped one wicket each.
