Sylhet Strikers' George Munsey suffered an unfortunate dismissal in the 27th match of the Bangladesh Premier League 2024-25 against the Dhaka Capitals. On the fifth ball of the second over of the chase by Sylhet Strikers, Munsey was on the strikers end and Mosaddek Hossain bowled a stump-line delivery to him. The southpaw made room for himself and attempted for a shot towards the cover region. However, the ball took an inside edge of the bat and went on to hit Munsey on his front foot to roll back towards the stumps. The batter wasn't aware of the ball slowing heading towards the wickets and this resulted into an unfortunate dismissal. The bails were off and Munsey had to take a long walk back to the pavillion.
