Scotland's George Munsey lighted the spark for the ZIM Afro T10 League with a splendid performance wherein he totally destroyed the Durban Wolves, hitting a blistering century on them. He completed it in mere 38 balls and got opposition bowlers helpless against him by his powerful hitting. Being sent out to bat after Lahiru Milantha's early dismissal Munsey took control of the game from the very start. He smashed 10 sixes and 6 fours, leaving Durban bowlers with little to say. However, the onslaught by Munsey pushed Harare Hurricanes towards a good score of 173/2. Munsey, striking at 263.16, was nearly a one-man show as his second-highest score was 24 from Janishka Perera. The bowler who was most troubled by Munsey was Yasir Shah, who conceded 30 runs in an over. Colin Munro was equally poor with the ball, leaking 27 runs in 2 overs. Munsey went mostly at the leg-side and the opposition did not know how to stop him. He ensured an unbeaten century that would give the Hurricanes a big target for Durban in return.
