The affection for Virat Kohli was evident when cricket fans at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium turned the entire stadium white during the RCB vs KKR game in IPL 2025 by wearing Test jersey with the name of Virat Kohli. The unique gesture was a tribute to the retired Indian captain, who had just made the announcement of retiring from Test cricket. Kohli had made the retirement announcement via an Instagram post on Monday, May 12, just few weeks ahead of the India's tour of England. Now, a video of a young boy has gone viral on social media in which the boy proudly showed Virat Kohli’s Test jersey on his graduation day at his university. As his name was announced, he walked onto the stage with loud cheers from the audience and the boy held up Kohli’s Test jersey with pride. A user posted the video on X (formerly Twitter), and it quickly grabbed attention online.
