A touching moment occurred when a student honored Indian cricket great Virat Kohli after he retired from Test cricket. Kohli retired from the longest form of the game some weeks ago. Recently, a video went viral of the student displaying Kohli's T20I jersey during his graduation ceremony. The student, Helinkumar Vasantbhai Chaudhari, from Northeastern University (Master of Professional Studies in Informatics), walked on stage when they called him, while holding Kohli’s jersey above him. The name and number were easily seen while he displayed the jersey to the crowd. He also retired from T20I cricket after retiring with the T20I World Cup in 2024. Kohli will only play ODIs for India moving forward. Presently, there is a possibility that Kohli may capture the only major trophy that has eluded him - the IPL trophy. Kohli has played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) since the inception of the league in 2008, and RCB has made the finals in 2009, 2011 and 2016 - without winning a single title.
