Day 3 of the ongoing unofficial Test between England U19 and South Africa U19 at Stellenbosch saw an unusual run-out where the fielder of South Africa U19 got injured at the same moment when England U19's Aaryan Sawant lost his wicket through run-out. During the 2nd session of Day 3, Jason Rowles, the left-arm spinner of South Africa U19, bowled a loose fourth delivery of 31st over to Sawant and the batter slogged it away with ease. However, the ball went on to hit the helmet of Jorich Van Schalkwyk who was positioned at the short-leg. The ball ricocheted after hitting the helmet and went on to hit the wickets. Sawant, who was just getting up after playing a sweep, fell short out of the crease and eventually became a victim of accidental run-out. While Sawant was on his way back to the dugout, Jorich, who suffered a blow on his helmet fell unconscious on the ground and he was soon surrounded by his teammates along with the physio.
