Virat Kohli, the face of Indian cricket, has made his first Ranji Trophy appearance for Delhi since 2012. The cricketer is playing for his side in this tournament in front of the home crowd and this has created a huge moment for his fans. During the game against Railways at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, one of his diehard fans breached the tight security arranged by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) and managed to invade the pitch just to meet his idol, Virat Kohli. He was seen running into the ground and touching the feet of Kohli before the guards evicted him out of the ground. While the security guards were taking the fan out, Virat Kohli can be seen pointing towards them and asking them strictly to not misbehave with him and this can be clearly seen in the video. This was an effective move as Delhi managed to take down three batters of Railways at the score of just 21 in 6.1 overs. Siddhant Sharma drew the first blood by removing Railways' opener Anchit Yadav (7) and soon he also dismissed their skipper Suraj Ahuja (14) to take his second. On the first delivery of the very next over, the sixth of the innings, Delhi's speedster Navdeep Saini castled Vivek Singh for a 14-ball duck. However, Mohammad Said and Upendra Yadav stabilized the innings and at the time of writing, Railways are at 61 at the loss of three wickets.
