India was asked to bat first in the 2nd match of the four-match T20I series, and the visitors had a shaky start against South Africa. Sanju Samson, who had pulled two centuries in the last two games, fell for a duck in the first over to Marco Jansen. India went through mixed struggles when even Abhishek Sharma was dismissed quickly, trying to cut a short ball from Gerald Coetzee. India at the end of the powerplay were at a challenging 34/3. The highlight of the match was the 8th over. Tilak Varma tried for an inside-out shot with a smash towards the boundary against Aiden Markram. However, the shot fell short, and David Miller, placed at short cover, grabbed a one-handed stunner with full stretch to send Tilak back to pavillion. The crowd held their breath in utter awe at Miller's greatest catch so far in this series.
