The first of three T20 matches between Australia A Women and India A Women was played on August 7 in Mackay. It was a low-scoring thriller in which Australia A Women defeated the India A Women by the margin of 13 runs, gaining a 1-0 series lead. Although there were a number of thrilling moments in the match, one such highlight that captured the attention of all was a spectacular catch by Courtney Webb at Point, which has gone viral worldwide on social media. Courtney Webb's Blinder Steals the Show at Mackay The highlight occurred in India's run-chase in the 12th over of their innings. Amy Edgar was the bowler, and Uma Chhetri was batting. Uma tried to play a shot towards the point area on the second ball of the over. That's when Courtney Webb, at point, sprinted to her right and dived to grab a catch while being completely airborne. What was so impressive about this catch was the distance and the timing Webb had to travel. The ball was really far out from her, yet she dove perfectly and managed to keep hold of the ball even after falling extremely hard to the ground. Her athletic prowess put smiles on her teammates' faces and turned the momentum around for the Aussies.
