In the 25th match of the Abu Dhabi T10 league between Deccan Gladiators and Bangla Tigers, an incident of a funny runout fail occurred. Deccan Gladiators won the toss and asked Bangla Tigers to bat first at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Bangla Tigers had an unpleasant start as they lost 4 wickets at the score of 23 runs. Anrich Nortje, the Proteas pacer came to bowl the last over for Deccan Gladiators where he conceded just 6 runs. There was a runout fail that occurred on the second-last ball of that over where Norjte bowled right on the block hole to Shakib. Shakib dugged it out and ran for a quick single and Nortje, who was on his follow through, quickly sprinted towards the ball and attempted a run-out by kicking the ball. However, the attempt hilariously failed and Rashid Khan, who was one coming from the non-strikers end survived to smash a boundary on the last ball.
