The defending champions, Australia, who are widely praised for quality cricket in both men's and women's cricket, could not really reach the mark in the second semifinal against India on October 30, at the DY Patil Stadium. Harmanpreet, who scored 89 runs of 88 balls, had a 167-run stand with Jemimah Rodrigues.   Jemmy, on the other hand, took the innings on her shoulder after Harmanpreet's departure. She accepted the fact that there were plenty of opportunities, but the team couldn't use them. She added,   "I think we did pretty well to hang in there. We created a lot of opportunities and let ourselves down in that regard. So probably sitting here disappointed knowing that we sort of did that to ourselves a little bit. Not taking anything away from the Indian performance. I thought they played really well. But yeah, there's a little bit of an element of we let ourselves down a little bit.”   Notably, India will play the final match against South Africa on November 2nd at the Dy Patil Stadium
