Joe Root was on six runs off 15 balls when Akash Deep delivered a magnificent ball and knocked his stumps over. This was on the second ball of the 11th over of England's second innings in the second Test against India at Edgbaston in Birmingham. This was the third session on the fourth day. However, Yorkshire batter Root couldn't assist his team and was out early. He was the third English batter to be dismissed on the fourth day. Before Root's fall, Akash Deep had already bowled clean Ben Duckett, who made 25 runs from 15 deliveries, striking five boundaries. Crawley lost his wicket without even scoring a run, having faced seven deliveries. He was caught by substitute fielder Sai Sudharsan on the fourth delivery of the second over. India announced their second innings at 427 for 6. This presented England with an enormous target of 608 runs to win the match. England had scored 72 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 16 overs at the end of Day 4. They still have 536 runs to get to win the match. Everybody is now looking at Harry Brook, the world's No. 2 Test batter. England supporters will expect him to play a big innings to at least assist England to draw the Test. Brook was one of England's top scorers in the first Test in which he played 99 runs. During the opening innings of the ongoing match, he scored 158 runs and recorded a 303-run partnership with Jamie Smith, who remained undefeated on 184. Their contribution enabled England to achieve 407 runs in the first innings. On Day 4 stumps, Harry Brook was 15 runs not out off 15 deliveries. Ollie Pope was with him at the crease on 24 runs off 44 deliveries.
