A clip of an African creator Agu Stanley Chiedozie copied Rishabh Pant's century celebration following his IPL 2025 century has gone viral on social media. Pant, playing for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), had a disappointing season after being acquired for ₹27 crore during the mega auction. However, he finished in good fashion with a stunning 118 of 61 balls against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). He opened up to bat at number 3 and completed a rapid hundred, contributing to LSG's total of 227. When Pant reached the century, he celebrated by performing a backflip. Although other teams scored a huge total, RCB managed to chase it due to stand-in skipper Jitesh Sharma's excellent innings. Following the match, an African influencer posted a video of him doing exactly the same backflip celebration. The video soon went viral, accumulating more than 500,000 views and nearly 40,000 likes on instagram. Engagement Details Inside Pant's Form Crucial for Team India Rishabh Pant's Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) finished seventh in the points table of IPL 2025. Despite a good start to the season, the team failed to capitalize and eventually missed out on a playoff spot. The team heavily relied on its overseas top order - Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, and Nicholas Pooran - to score the majority of the runs, as skipper Rishabh Pant struggled with the bat throughout the season. Though he scored a century in the last game, his overall tally for the IPL 2025 season was just 269 runs in 13 innings. Apart from that innings, he also scored a fifty against Chennai Super Kings. Pant's lack of contribution and LSG’s inexperienced bowling attack were the main reasons behind the team’s poor run this season. However, Pant’s return to form is a positive sign, not just for LSG but also for the Indian team, as the left-hander will play for India’s Test side against England. In the absence of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, his experience and form will be vital for Team India on the away tour.
