Abhimanyu Easwaran was dismissed by Mumbai spinner Shams Mulani for 191 runs in the morning session on the fourth day, just short of a well-deserved double century for Rest of India in the Irani Cup 2024 match against Mumbai on Friday, October 4. The match is underway at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Tanush Kotian caught the 29-year-old off the first ball of the 103rd over. He had faced 292 balls, with 16 fours and one six, for 191 runs before his dismissal. The player had also contributed 165 runs for the fifth wicket with Dhruv Jurel. After his dismissal, Easwaran was on the field visibly upset, slamming his bat in anger. A video of his reaction is now doing the rounds online.
