After being asked to bat first, Morne van Wyk smashed a fiery 76 off just 35 balls, while Colin Ingram and JJ Smuts added crucial contributions, helping South Africa post a competitive 186/8. Peter Siddle led the Australian bowling with an impressive 4-wicket haul. Chasing 187, Australia Champions were guided by Daniel Christian, who remained unbeaten on a fighting 49* off 29 deliveries.
