In a viral short clip, the fast bowler from Pakistan, Ihsanullah, made some very bold and confident statements about India's attacking opener Abhishek Sharma. He clearly said that he would get the upper hand over Sharma in six balls, while he would take only three balls to get rid of the left-handed batter. Ihsanullah added, "Abhishek Sharma mere samne 6 ball se zyada nahi tik payenga. Main usse teen ball mein out kar doonga." With this, yet again, the fans continued the banter on the India-Pakistan rivalry. Ihsanullah is a tall 6'5" right-arm pacer who first came into the limelight with a scintillating spell of 5/12 for Multan Sultans during the 2023 Pakistan Super League (PSL). That season was the making of him, as he was awarded PSL Player of the Tournament and PSL Bowler of the Tournament. His bowling pace regularly touched about 144 kph, topping out at 154.5 kph for that spell. Ihsanullah made his international debut for Pakistan in 2023 in both T20Is and ODIs. However, his career has been plagued by injuries and off-field issues, rather hindering his career. An elbow injury in 2023-24 kept him in the sidelines for a while, and later there were controversies including his alleged threats to boycott the PSL after going unsold in the 2025 draft. Despite these setbacks, Ihsanullah remains confident about his capabilities and vocal about his struggles.
