The Green Park of Kanpur is hosting its first Test after three years and fans are the excited to see their favorite players. Many waited in lines at the venue to get a pass for the match, which had traveled long distances. 15-year-old Kartikey from Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, rode 58 kilometres on his bicycle only to witness Virat Kohli bat in the second Test against Bangladesh. A video appearing on the social media shows Kartikey saying he came all the way from Unnao to Kanpur only to watch the match. An ardent Kohli fan, he wanted to see the former Indian captain bat during the Test. He requires 129 runs for his career and would end up as the fourth Indian batter to score 9000 runs in Tests. His achievement will draw him into a group of three legendary players-Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sunil Gavaskar. India are leading the two-match series 1-0 and have made no change to their combination. Under overcast skies, the hosts are doing the fielding with three seamers. Bangladesh made two changes by bringing in fast bowler Khaled Ahmed and left-arm spinner Taijul Islam, while Najmul Hossain Shanto has got the nod from the board. This Test could also be Shakib Al Hasan's last in the game in this format as a Bangladesh player. At the end of the opening session of Day 1, Bangladesh are at 74 at the loss of 2 wickets. Mominul Haque (17*) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (28*) stitched a 45 runs partnership after losing two early wickets. Indian pacer Akash Deep picked up the wicket of both the Bangla openers.
