Former Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has reacted to a viral video that stated that Jitesh Sharma was denied entry into Lord's Cricket Ground during the third Test between India and England. The video, which went viral on social media, presented a clip in which Jitesh seemed to have been intercepted by security. It was accompanied by the caption: "Lord's security guard did not let Jitesh Sharma into the stadium. This is embarrassing." But Dinesh Karthik, a member of commentary team for the current Test series, ended the confusion. He said that the event occurred outside the media centre complex, not the primary gate of the stadium. Karthik used social media to describe the situation. He posted, "These are some issues with social media that a lot of face. I invited jitesh to the comm box, he had come, and I came and met him down and took him to the comm box and he met everyone there. Btw this is below the media center, not the entrance to the ground."
