After BCCI's latest instructions to the senior players asking them to feature in domestic cricket, Virat Kohli is all set to play a Ranji Trophy match after 12 long years against Railways. The Indian legend last made an appearance in the tournament way back in November 2012 for his home team Delhi, playing against UP and hasn't played any Ranji game sice then. Homecoming of the King Virat joined the Delhi team this week and was seen practicing with the entire squad on Tuesday morning at his home ground, the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The star-batter indulged himself in a long and intense training session alongside his teammates where he also appeared to be joyful and in a good space throughout. Delhi will be playing their their last match of the tournament from 30th January against Railways in a Group-D fixture. The 4-day match will start at 9:30 am from 30th January. Initially the fixture was not scheduled to be streamed anywhere but the BCCI and the broadcasters would have soon realised the immense value that Virat is bringing to the game and thus must have decided to give the fans a chance to watch him play from their homes. He seemed to be determined and looked to work on his technique, especially on the outside-off deliveries and his backfoot game. Although Delhi are out of the knockout race, the inclusion of someone like Virat in the squad will definitely boost the team's morale.
