When several players were assembling for the routine fitness Test before the Asia Cup, followed by the away white ball series against Australia, one major name missing was Virat Kohli. Till now, there is no solid information on Virat Kohli arriving, till some reports claimed that he is not coming to India! If reports are to be believed, then Virat Kohli will give a fitness Test in London. Currently, Virat Kohli is residing in London with his family. He left India right after he captained the 2025 Indian Premier League. Since he is just a part of India's ODI setup, he had no assignments in between. And now a report from Dainik Jagran is saying that the team of BCCI physiotherapists and strength and conditioning coaches have submitted a list of individual fitness Test schedules. As per that, Kohli is supposed to undergo the procedures in London, unlike the rest of the players. Notably, the report said that a senior BCCI official said Virat Kohli had sought prior approval for the London-based Test. And this sounded bizarre as well as partial when other Indian players were mandated to visit Bengaluru's Centre of Excellence for the series of tests.
