Despite losing Phil Salt early for just 4, RCB quickly recovered as Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal stitched together a fluent partnership. Kohli was at his classy best, scoring 67 off 42 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes, while Padikkal smashed 37 off 22 deliveries before falling to Vignesh Puthur. Captain Rajat Patidar took the momentum forward with a powerful 64 from just 32 balls, striking at exactly 200. His clean hitting included 5 boundaries and 4 sixes. Jitesh Sharma anchored the finishing act, blasting an unbeaten 40 off 19 balls with 4 sixes, ensuring a strong finish for RCB. His aggressive intent in the death overs tilted the momentum completely.
