The star batter Virat Kohli has been the center of attraction for fans in the Ranji Trophy, and fans yet again breached the tight security at the Arun Jaitley Stadium to meet him on February 1 in the Delhi vs Railway match on day 3. Three fans rushed into the stadium to meet Virat Kohli to touch his feet, and the match was paused for that. A number of securities ran in and managed to drag the fans out of the park. This has raised massive security concerns, as this is the second time this has happened in the match. A fan breached security to meet Virat Kohli during his return to the Ranji Trophy on January 30 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. During the break, the fan rushed to Kohli, touched his feet, and was quickly escorted away by security. The game was briefly interrupted before play resumed. Some injury issues occurred outside due to the crowd; the security personnel found it difficult to control the mob. DDCA earlier had planned to use to stands but has now opened the third stand for the massive crowd turning up into the stadium. However, Kohli failed to live up to the expectations as he scored 6 runs, getting totally bamboozled by the Railways pacer Himanshu Sangwan. The crowd, visibly frustrated, left the field soon after his dismissal but turned up again today as Kohli walked in to field.
