Sri Lanka Cricket New Zealand Cricket England and Wales Cricket Board and Cricket Ireland submitted requests for ODI series according to reports. The Indian cricketers, which include Kohli and Rohit, will dedicate their efforts toward Indian Premier League 2026. The match will be followed by a Test match and three ODI matches between India and Afghanistan at Indian venues. The team will move to England following their current task to compete in white-ball matches that will include different game formats. The team will proceed to Ireland after that. The BCCI and Cricket Ireland are still negotiating the series format, which will include either three ODIs or three T20Is for the Ireland series.
