Rajasthan Royals player Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was just 14 years old, set the cricketing world abuzz after scoring an incredible 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans during IPL 2025. Even though his innings was widely hailed by cricket enthusiasts and legends alike, certain individuals on the internet questioned his actual age. Two of them were Olympic bronze medalist boxer Vijender Singh and star India opener Vaibhav. On his X (previously Twitter), Vijender wrote a sarcastic tweet inquiring whether players are now reducing their age to play cricket. Even though he didn't mention anyone's name, his tweet arrived only two days after Vaibhav's match-winning performance, which indicates that he was pointing towards the young RR sensation. Here's the Tweet by Vijender Singh Bhai aaj kal umar choti ker ke cricket me bhe khelne lage 🤔 — Vijender Singh (@boxervijender) April 30, 2025 After few hours of making this tweet, he posting another tweet in which he wrote 'Sachi Kehna Sukhi Rehna'. This tweet came after Vijender faced backlash from the fans after his previous tweet. When will Vaibhav Suryavanshi next play? Vaibhav will feature next when Rajasthan Royals will play Mumbai Indians in the 50th match of IPL 2025. The match will be held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Vaibhav took the place of injured captain Sanju Samson in the playing XI and will probably retain his position due to his present form. With this being a must-win match for Rajasthan Royals, the spotlight will once again be on the teenage prodigy. He will face one of the most attacking bowling line-up which includes Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah and Deepak Chahar.
