In the latest development, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 13-year-old prodigy cricketer hailing from Bihar, has been shortlisted for the IPL 2025 mega auction. He will become the youngest person ever to go under the hammer in IPL’s auction history. Meanwhile, the 13-year-old cricketer who plays for Bihar in domestic cricket grabbed the headlines in recent times because of his talent. Now, he will be going into the mega auction. Vaibhav has been placed as the 491st pick in the 68th category of the uncapped player’s list. Vaibhav was born in the Tajpur village of Bihar and he started his cricketing journey at the very young age of 9. With his sheer hard work and outstanding talent, he quickly got selected in the senior men’s team of Bihar. In September 2024, Vaibhav made his debut for the U19 Indian team in a youth Test match which was held against Australia and the batter smashed a century off just 58 deliveries which was an outstanding achievement in itself. If we talk about the IPL 2025 mega auction then the auction is scheduled to be held in Jeddah this year on November 24 and 25. There have been 574 final shortlisted players out of registered 1574 players who will go under the hammer of the IPL 2025 auction.
