New Zealand has sealed a 2-0 series win in the three-match Test series hosting the West Indies. The series was sealed after New Zealand defeated WI by a massive 323-run margin on December 22 at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. Chasing a huge 462 runs, West Indies was bowled out at 132 runs, thanks to Jacob Duffy's fifer. New Zealand posted 57 in the first innings, willing to bat first. Devon Conway scored a double century (227), while his opening partner, aka the captain of the team, Tom Latham, scored 137. In the middle Rachin Ravindra added 72 runs and stood not out with Ajaz Patel (30) before they declared on 575 loosing 8 wickets. The West Indies almost came near to the Kiwis, as they scored 420 runs owing to a century from Kavem Hodge, who stood not out at 123. Duffy took 4 wickets in the first innings, while Patel took 3, nicely supported by Michael Rae (2/89) and Daryl Mitchell (1/9). New Zealand further added 306 runs with centuries from Latham (101) and Conway (100) and two forties from Kane Williamson (40*) and Rachin Ravindra (46*). Chasing 462 runs, West Indies could not stand long and was bagged in 138 runs, with King being the highest scorer from the side at 67.
